"Blowin' Like Hell", The William Clarke Story, will be coming out in late August. I have been writing the book for the past 2+ years, and have interviewed over 50 musicians, friends and industry people. 

It is a riveting and compelling story about one of the greatest harp players of all-time. I met Bill in 1983 when my band opened up for George 'Harmonica' Smith in St. Paul, MN and Bill was on tour with George. We became good friends and I lived with Bill and Jeannette and family in L.A. in 1985. He was a wonderful musician and man with a loving supportive wife and family. He faced many challenges and hardships over his lifetime, but persevered through determination and hard work to become a brilliant soulful player, vocalist, songwriter, bandleader and entertainer! 

He should always be remembered and this book along with all his great recordings will help further his legacy.
