Folk club gig - Bristol

The Whiskey River Boys" FOLK CLUB GIG, Bristol, Saturday 21st October. 

Aidan here from Whitchurch "Second Tuesday Club" / "Penylan Folk Club".

Trevor Carter (aka "THE BARD OF WINDMILL HILL'') has sent me some flyers and asked me to inform my folk friends - Bristol is not far away so come to this imminent gig at "Redcatch Folk Club", Redcatch Community Centre, Redcatch Road, Knowle, Bristol  BS4 2EP.  The organisers Trevor and Sally run a great night. Lots of the Newport Folk Gang regularly attend this club, (our musical friend and regular club attendee Mac Perret can't be there this time, yet please still tell people about it Mac, cool!). Quite simply, it's a very friendly folk club with live folk music - excellent! 

It opens at 7.15 pm, there will be marvellous floor singers + support band (Mandy Woods) + "The Whiskey River Boys" (Martin Blake and Aidan Sheehan). £10 (cash) payable on the door; enjoy!
