Hi there most of you will know me as Chris the accompanist at the various events and festivals put on by Harmonica UK. I just thought I would share some of the projects I am involved in and have been involved in. The main one I guess is an event called Community Spirit, which is a large scale choral spectacular held in Symphony Hall for which I have been the accompanist for around six concerts. It is a celebration of about eight community choirs singing their own choice of music alongside selected mass pieces. About four years ago we performed one of my songs Peace to the World and I arranged it for 350 voices.  Philip Achille played a stunning solo harmonica and one of the members of Black Voices sung the opening solo beautifully. Naturally I was very proud. 

I have several gigs booked in to the diary this year which is a great relief after the huge challenges we have all had to face. The other news I have had is that two of my original songs were semi finalists in the UK Songwriting Competition 2021, this is a world wide event. One of the songs was a Christmas song The (Best ) Christmas It’s Ever Been my daughter wrote the lyrics. The other was an Instrumental Keyboard piece entitled In the Zone. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all again once we return to Hillscourt for the Chromatic Weekend.
