Harmonica instrumental music with the theme of the 7th Indonesian Natural Award entitled "Yogyakarta Magnificence'' is an ongoing project included in the album Anugerah Alam Indonesia by Sarah Saputri, one of our HarmonicaUK Ambassadors. Where the output is a music video that displays regional potential, natural beauty, culture, creative economy and local wisdom of each region.
Sarah Saputri touched on the regional potential and natural beauty in Yogyakarta. However, this time the music video is presented more broadly by adding aspects in the music video, namely regarding civilization. Civilization in this case is shown by the Plaosan Temple which is so magnificent and has become one of the tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. The potential of the area around Yogyakarta that is included in this music video includes natural beauty as well as local wisdom as a complement and can represent humans who live side by side with nature in "civilization".
“The hope is that the audience will gain insight that humans are inseparable from the cycle of life that repeats itself and is connected to nature and its environment. However, one thing that cannot be repeated by humans is "time" and "time" shows its existence through "inheritance" which is the guide. I want to invite the audience and listeners to be more grateful for everything that God has given and has entrusted to us as heirs of His greatness," said Sarah Saputri.
In this music video, Sarah Saputri occasionally plays the harmonica as a form of gratitude, happiness and amazement to the almighty in the elegance of her harmonica playing.
The shooting locations in the "Yogyakarta Magnificence" music video include Mangunan Tourism, Parangtritis Beach, Sundak Beach, Parangkusumo Sand Dunes, Imogiri Cemetery and the Yogyakarta Palace. In addition, batik, which is the hallmark of Yogyakarta, is also included in this video, where the shooting took place at Erisa Batik. Typical food is also not left behind, namely tiwul ayu, where the food is made from cassava and has been consumed by the local community for a long time. The wardrobe used by Sarah Saputri is the work of Bayu Kuntani, a designer from Yogyakarta.
The Yogyakarta Magnificence music video will be released on Sarah Saputri's YouTube channel on February 26, and can be enjoyed in all digital stores. Enjoy!
