Dear members!
We took part as SORARMONICA in the octet cast,Festival in Bristol 2015, where for a few years as duo - Simona Perme & Vladimir Hrovat, and after our first (CD) duo-album, Intimate Impressions Of Great Masterpieces, with fantastic reviews from different parts of the world.
Here we have something very special, we just finished the last recordings for our second album with different kinds of music of the 20th century. A small anthology of different genres - from Mahler, Bartok ... to Piazzolla, Williams ... All are live recordings from concerts as the harmonica duo, but for this album we made a special exception: multi-playback, eight lines, upper - the leading-one plays Simona, two bass lines are my, and in between we divided the other lines - all this for the famous Adagio (for Strings) Op. 11 by Samuel Barber.
We hope you enjoy this music & share the link with a number of other people, friends, acquaintances …
(American Doctor of Music Education, tubist and harmonicist George Miclas wrote in FB: Samuel Barber's Adagio Op. 11 has never sounded so beautiful as this arrangement for 8 part chromatic harmonicas by my Slovenian friend Vladimir Hrovat.)
Regards and best wishes from Slovenia
