SPAH awards nominations close on 31st July

Winslow Yerxa, SPAH Awards Coordinator sent us the following newsletter which affects SPAH members only

The July 31 deadline is approaching fast to nominate worthy candidates for SPAH’s annual awards.

Only SPAH members can nominate candidates for awards. The board doesn't pull names out of a hat. We accept nominations from all SPAH members, and only nominations submitted in writing by the July 31 deadline are considered when we meet to determine award recipients.

SPAH Awards are given at the annual SPAH convention, which is returning to a live event this year in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

For your convenience, here is a link to the SPAH webpage where you can download the awards packet. (You don't have to use the forms in the packet to submit a nomination. We actually prefer if you write your nomination in an email, which is easier for us to process.) Please consider the criteria for each award.  Which award is your candidate best suited to?
Why does your candidate deserve the award? We're not long-distance mind readers and may not know why you're nominating that candidate.
Also, please pay attention to past recipients. Nobody can receive the same award twice. You can review previous recipients here:
You can even submit your nomination by postal mail as long as you can get it to me by the July 31 deadline.
